No. Trichology is not a licensed medical profession in most jurisdictions. Verification confirms a practitioner holds a legitimate trichology certification from a recognized training institution and is who they say they are — it does not replace state medical or cosmetology licensure.

We recognize certifications from the International Association of Trichologists (IAT) and its regional chapters, the World Trichology Society (WTS), the United States Trichology Institute (USTI), the Trichological Society (UK), and equivalent national bodies worldwide.
